Casio G’zOne Commando is a solid ruggedized Android powered smartphone, meeting Military Standards 810G, which can resist rain, shock, vibration, as well as low and high temperatures, fog, solar radiation, and dust. Its official pricing is $199.99 on 2-year contract with Verizon Wireless, which is not an ideal price option for this handset which is having some low-end specifications, except its solid features. If you don’t want to spill out 200 bucks on this tough phone, Amazon is offering it for just $19.99, which is a good choice for a bargain price.

G’zOne Commando comes with Android 2.2 on a custom skin from Casio, and has the usual Verizon stuff on it, running on a 800MHz processor, featuring a 3.6-inch WVGA (480×800) touch screen display, equipped with a 5 megapixels camera with auto focus and LED flash, operates in eight different modes of G’zGear functions – Earth Compass, Walking Counter, Adventure Training mode, Tides mode, Thermometer mode, sun/moon schedules etc.,

It is also having Mobile Hotspot and can share a 3G connection with up to five Wi-Fi capable devices, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, 3.5mm headset jack, a pre-installed 8GB microSDHC memory card and scope for memory expansion up to 32GB.
