Qualcomm reveals Snapdragon S4 Play processors, to be shipped in Devices Q1 2013

Qualcomm announced today in Beijing the addition of two new Snapdragon S4 mobile processors, MSM8225Q and MSM8625Q. It will offer OEMs quad-core CPUs and performance for entry-level smartphones, with the more advanced version featuring higher bus bandwidth and enhanced user experiences.

Qualcomm announces the MDM8225 in MWC 2011, which will offers full support for HSPA+ Release 9/HSPA+ 84Mbps. T-Mobile USA is expecting on delivering 84 Mbps HSPA+ capability in 2012 with the MDM8225.
