Dell Streak 10 Pro Confirmed, Will be Launched In China First, then US

Dell has confirmed that they have been working on a larger 10-inch tablet. It is now official that the 10-inch Honeycomb tablet known as the Streak 10 Pro along with another unnamed Windows 7 tablet for enterprise customers will be available later this year. Till today we have been seeing only the leaked pics, specs etc.

In another revelation, the Dell Streak 10 Pro will be first Launched in China instead of the US. This comes like a bad news to the customers in the US. It seems Dell has been trying to harness the tremendous growth and opportunity in BRIC(Brazil, Russia, India, China) Countries, especially in China. Moreover, Dell will be able to customize software and hardware to the core for Android Market and Apps, before it launches it to the high ended customers in the US and Europe.

Dell Streak Pro has been rumored to come with tablet optimized Android 3.0 Honeycomb OS skinned with Dells’ Stage 2.0 UI, running on 1.2GHz Nvidia Tegra T20 Dual-Core application processor for increased performance capabilities, sporting 10 inches WXGA display with 1280 x 800 pixels of resolution, boosted by 1GB of DDR2 RAM, a 5 megapixels rear camera, and an additional 2 megapixel front-facing camera for video chats, a modular modem for data only, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, dual band Wi-Fi connectivity, Android Market, measuring 13mm thickness, and weighing 720 grams.

The price details of the tablet are still not available.
