At Bangalore Fashion Week yesterday, Dell together with Aircel, has just launched it’s Android powered device, Dell Venue in India for Rs. 29,990. Dell Venue is the Portrait Qwerty-slider less version of the Dell Venue Pro, which has also launched in India at the same event.
The 3.5G enabled smartphone, Dell Venue is running on Android Froyo OS with Dell custom “Stage” UI for more customization, 8MP camera with 720p video capture, digital zoom, 1GB inbuilt storage with microSD slot support for 32GB, Wi-Fi, HSPA, Bluetooth 3.0, Flash 10.1 and it has no Qwerty slider and has forsaken Windows Phone 7 for Android 2.2 Froyo OS.
Dell Venue equipped with 1GHz application processor, 4.1″ inch touch display, 512MB RAM. However it has no Qwerty slider and has forsaken Windows Phone 7 for Android 2.2 Froyo OS and it is also featuring Gravity Sensor, E Compass, 1400mAh battery, Android Market, a whole host of Android and Aircel services.
