The Asus Transformer Pad 300 has had many updates since it got released and it just keeps getting better. Asus is now sending out another update to the Transformer Pad 300 tablet. It’s just a minor update and it will fix backspace problem on keyboard. The new build number is JR003C.US_epad-10.4.2.17-20121018. There are major changes in the build and the Android version remains at v4.1.1.
According to the reports, the update also increases stability and you may notice the tablet boots faster and the stock browser renders pages quicker (noticeably) and the Wi-Fi connects much faster when coming out of sleep after. If you haven’t already upgraded, go grab the update now.
Owners of the Asus Transformer Pad can start manually pulling the newest firmware update to 10.4.2.17 if your Transformer Pads haven’t automatically prompted yet. All you need to do is to hit up the Settings app –> About Tablet –> and follow the further options.
