Great news for Samsung Galaxy Note hackers, customizers and modders out there. Sammy has released the kernel source code for the Android OS powered built-in stylus enabled Samsung Galaxy Note tablet/hybrid smartphone. For those developers who are looking to buy the Galaxy Note, this is a good sign.

Samsung Galaxy Note sports a 5.3″ Super AMOLED packing smartphone — or tablet, or whatever you want to call it. This device isn’t yet available in the U.S. and may never will be, but it will be releasing on November 1st for £495 (~$787), which has dropped from initial price tag of £559. It comes packed with 1.4GHz dualcore processor, Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS flavored with Samsung’s own TouchWiz UI on top of it, 8 MP rear camera with 1080p HD video capturing capability,2 megapixel front camera to make video calls, micro USB, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0 + HS, Wi-Fi Direct, Social Hub, Readers Hub , Music Hub, microSD card slot to hold 32GB memory storage, 2500mAh battery.
