This could be the first Galaxy S23 Ultra unboxing video

It’s no secret that Galaxy S23 phones are on the way. Samsung took the decision of announcing the trio phones during the company’s Galaxy Unpacked event, which is scheduled to happen on February 1st. The highlight of that event is going to be the Galaxy S23 Ultra, and we already have confirmation of the final design for this upcoming flagship, as well as four of the colors, through the leaked press images.

Yesterday, we also saw the first real life photos of this phone lying face down in all four colors, which were available for early sale at a retail shop in Matagalpa. But that hasn’t stopped the leaks from coming thick and fast, including the latest unboxing video of the Galaxy S23 Ultra. This is a low-res unboxing video of what’s purportedly a Galaxy S23 Ultra coming out of Nicaragua, Central America. This comes courtesy of a Twitter user, @edwards_uh, who has an unboxing video of a device, which appears to be the Galaxy S23 Ultra in the “Cotton Flower” color, showing us what’s in the box and giving us his impressions of the phone as a whole.

From the video, we get a good look at the actual box of the upcoming smartphone and the phone coming out of the box. It looks rather attractive, in the same way the previous-gen Galaxy S22 Ultra did. We can see the phone in its off-white color on the rear, while its edges appear to be painted in light gold. It has a quad camera setup on the back side.

There’s also an S Pen slot on the bottom. In this video, you can also observe the placements of loudspeaker, SIM card slot, primary microphone, USB Type-C port, a secondary mic on the top, while the power and volume buttons are located on the right side of the device. It also has curves on the edges of the screen, and also appears to showing off the flatter sides.

Other than the above, there’s not much more we can glean from this unboxing. Samsung will also offer the phone in three more colors: Phantom Black, Botanic Green, and Misty Lilac.

The Galaxy S23 Ultra will ship with a 6.8-inch Dyanamic AMOLED display with QHD+ resolution, 120HZ refresh rate, running on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, 8GB/12GB RAM, 256GB/512GB/1TB storage, and a 5,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging support. Reaming specs are including the newly released 200MP ISOCELL HP2 sensor with OIS and F1.7 aperture, a 12MP ultrawide camera with autofocus, a 10MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom and OIS, and a 10MP telephoto camera with 10x optical zoom and OIS. Around the front, the phone trades a 12MP selfie camera with 4K HDR video recording.
