The Samsung Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra were officially announced last night, and they are already available to pre-order in the US, and in India, as well as in all other parts worldwide. Samsung has made some changes to the Galaxy S23/S23+ and Galaxy S23 Ultra colors compared to last year.
There are lots of color options there which are tended to be bolder and brighter, with the Samsung Galaxy S23 and S23 Plus each being available in seven shades, while the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra is available in a slightly different selection of eight colors, which include exclusive colors too. If you are looking for a particular shade, you may not be able to get your hands on your preferred model in that color. Head below for a rundown of all of this year’s options, and get the cleanest look at each of those colors in the flesh.
The Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+ available six color options are:
- Green
- Phantom Black
- Lavender
- Cream
- Graphite (exclusive option)
- Lime (exclusive option)
Phantom Black
Both the Samsung Galaxy S23 and the Galaxy S23 Plus come in a black shade, called Phantom Black, which is carried over from the Galaxy 23/23+ lineup, but this year’s version has been tweaked to be brighter and more saturated. You can see how this looks in the image above. Note that the camera block is also black here, so there isn’t any bit of contrast on the back side.
Phantom Black is one of the most popular colors, and most of the users pick this color as it matches with all clothes, cases, and skins, and it’s our go-to option, and it provides a classy, classic look. It might also be considered “boring,” by many users.
Lavender
Lavender is the cool new shade for the Galaxy S23 series and looks beautiful. It has a light shade of Pink, and its pink shade makes it look smart, elegant, and unusually attractive. It is going to be one of the most unique colors for the women, and it goes with all of their clothes and accessories.
Green
You can also get the Galaxy S23 and S23+ phones in green, which is a fairly dark, matte green, and one of the more unusual shades that you can go for. The Green shade is more subtle and fits perfectly into the rest of the series and the other pale-ish colors. It also matches perfectly with the black bezels on the front, and it looks smart.
Cream
Cream is the other most popular color alongside Phantom Black. It’s a slightly white-ish shade, and it goes with everything. The white shade makes it look more subtle and unique in some ways.
Graphite
While the aforementioned four colors are standard and popular colors options available from Samsung, Graphite will be available exclusively for both the S23 and S23+ phones from Samsung’s website at no extra cost. This should not be confused with the standard Phantom Black. Graphite replaces Phantom Black as the standard model’s darkest color option, and looks dramatically different.
Lime
Last, but not the lease – Lime is a new color introduced with the Galaxy S23 lineup. This shade, in particular, is likely to be the color that is most noticeably new and indicates that you have the latest-generation device.
The Galaxy S23 Ultra’s available eight color options are:
- Phantom Black
- Lavender
- Cream
- Green
- Graphite (exclusive option)
- Lime (exclusive option)
- Sky Blue (exclusive option)
- Red (exclusive option)
Phantom Black
Just like its younger siblings, the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra also comes in a Phantom Black shade. It’s an elegant and smart color, and it’s our go-to option if you’re looking to change the looks of your phone every once in a while with a new case or a skin. This should be a safe choice and everyone will appreciate this shade.
Lavender
Lavender is another super shade, introduced for this year’s Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra, and this shade is also available for all three models. There’s also a lavender-topped S Pen, matching color palette of the back side of the device.
Cream
Cream is a great option for those who want something neutral but prefer something brighter and not so dark. This shade can be paired up with pretty much anything. It has the same cream-ish/off-white shade that makes it look different from the Black Galaxy S23 Ultra model, and if you have a clear case with a design, it would look much better.
Green
If you want to stand out with a unique Galaxy S23 Ultra colorway but don’t want to pick up the exclusive colors or the standard Black/Lavender/Cream variants, then Green is the way to go. It’s a brighter shade of green than what we saw on the previous-gen Galaxy S22 Ultra.
Graphite
If you buy the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra from Samsung’s online store then you will have access to few color options beyond the aforementioned widely available standard color options, including Graphite.
It looks exactly similar to the Graphite model of the S22 and Galaxy S22 Plus launched in last year. The S Pen is also in graphite shade here, that matches the shade of the phone.
Lime
Lime is the new shade introduced for this year’s Galaxy S23 Ultra, along with the Galaxy S23/S23+. This is the first time a truly big-sized Galaxy S23 Ultra is available in Lime colorway. So if you’ve always wanted to buy one of the bigger Ultra models in this color, then now is the time to do it.
Opt for this, and you’ll also get a silver-topped S Pen, though its full body is lime, which is matching with the phone’s shade.
Sky Blue
Here’s another shade called Blue Sky that you can only get from Samsung.com, and another that won’t find available for the other Galaxy S23 models this year. However, this shade is carried over from the previous-gen Galaxy S22 Ultra models.
Samsung has been working on toning it down ever since. This year’s blue color has a brighter shade compared to what we got last year. As a result, the new Blue is more subtle and fits perfectly into the rest of the series and the other pale-ish colors. You will also get a blue S Pen, with a silver head to match the handset’s frame.
Red
The Red is also one of the best and unique colors for the Galaxy S23 Ultra that you can get it direct from Samsung. The Korean tech giant played with the shade of its unique Red color in recent years, and we now have a more vibrant Red color that stands out even more, which helps you to get the flashiest look for this phone
The Galaxy S23 Ultra in Red shade is guaranteed to stand out in a crowd with its bright and bold shade. The S Pen is black topped with graphite head.
