Another day, another pile of Samsung leaks connecting to Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy flagship phones. Samsung is due to debut its newest Galaxy S23 phones in just a couple of weeks during its Unpack event in San Francisco, and the marketing press renders of the entire Galaxy S23 lineup has already leaked.
Even though we already know quite a bit about the official accessories Samsung is gearing up to offer the cases to match with the Galaxy S23 series of phones after launch. Thankfully, a new leak gave us a chance to look at the design of the official flip covers for the top-of-the-line Ultra model.
The prolific leakster @evleaks via Twitter has released a bunch of official renders depicting our first look at the company’s line of protective cases and S-View Flip Covers for the Galaxy S23 Ultra model. As you can see above, a nicely-looking flip cover case which has a slot for credit cards, as well as a small window on the flap for the Always On Display feature, letting the phone display relevant information such as the time and notifications when it’s closed.
The color options seem to be blue, black, cream, green, and pink – matching the Galaxy S23 lineup, as seen in the yesterday’s leaked renders. The cases and Flip Covers are made of silicon
The Galaxy S23 Ultra is expected to arrive with the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, paired up with up 16GB of RAM, and 256GB, or 512 GB, or 1 TB of UFS 4.0 storage. It should have a 6.8” QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, a max brightness of up to 2000 nits. For photography, it would be the first smartphone from Samsung to have a high-resolution 200MP primary camera, which has been making news about having possibilities such as photography in low-light conditions and astrophotography. Under the hood, it will be backed up by a 5,000 mAh battery and support for 45W fast-charging speeds.
Samsung must be planning to launch plenty of cases and flip covers for the phone. So, expect a leak of the case designs for the Galaxy S23, and Galaxy S23+ in the coming days. Meanwhile, interested customers can start to reserve their piece here at Samsung’s website and receive $50 in Samsung Credit.
