We’ve already reported that the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 is available for pre-order at Best Buy. And today we are hearing reports that the units of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 (Wi-Fi only) have already started to arrive at the Best Buy stores across the United States. Sources also indicate that the tablets will go on for sale starting September 22.
Though most of the Best Buy stores will get the shipments and will sell the units starting with the date mentioned above, however it is also being said that some Best Buy stores would have to wait till September 25 to get their units shipped to them for the sale.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 features an 8.9-inch WXGA capacitive touchscreen display (1280 x 800), 1GHz Tegra 2 dual-core processor, 1GB RAM, Android 3.1 Honeycomb OS, 3 megapixel rear camera capable of recording HD video, 2MP front-facing camera for video chats, Bluetooth 3.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, GPS receiver, DLNA support, a 6000mAh battery etc.
Want to get your hands on the Tab 8.9? You may have to wait till September 25th (if you are lucky, you can get one by 22nd too) then! However you may also pre-order a 32GB model or a 64GB model from the links. The source adds that the 32GB model has been listed at “$399.99” at Best Buy. However the final price tag may differ.
