Galaxy Tab A7 Lite gets Android 13 One UI 5.0 update

Samsung has been busy seeding out the Android 13 love for several Galaxy smartphones on its lineup. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite was launched in 2021 with Android 11 seeded One UI 3.1. Later it got updated to Android 12 based One UI 4.1 build in August this year.

Finally, Samsung started rolling out the latest Android 13 based One UI 5.0 update for the Galaxy Tab A7 Lite tablet. One UI 5.0 offers all the goodies of Android 12 OS with a Samsung coat of customizations on top.

After updating your Tab A7 Lite tablet to Android 13 One UI 5.0, the firmware version would be upgraded to T220ZCU1CVL5. The update has begun rolling out in China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan. The rollout will hopefully expand to other regions in the coming days.

One UI 5.0 is a big visual update with refreshed UI. It brings new stackable widgets with new look, new simpler app icons, new lock screen editing, refined notifications, bigger app icons for notifications, better translucency effects in the notifications area, and smoother animations and transitions. One UI 5.0 also enable you to extract text from images.

There will be Gallery app improvements, new security and privacy dashboard, video wallpapers, 16 colour themes based on wallpaper, redesigned menu settings for ringtone volume and vibration intensities. A set of improved stock apps – such as Camera, Samsung Gallery, Samsung Internet, and Samsung Keyboard. The built-in photo editor in One UI 5.0 build lets you to create stickers from any image, edit GIFs better. This build also lets you to keep Portrait effects even after editing an image, draw perfect shapes, and add new stickers.

The Galaxy Tab A7 Lite users can manually check for the Andorid 13 One UI 5 update by navigating to its Settings > Software update menu.
