Google Asus Nexus 7 Tablet

Recently, several rumors indicated that Google will unveil the Asus-made Nexus tablet at Google I/O event in June. Recently, Google Nexus tablet was spotted on the Rightware Basemark ES 2.0 Taiji benchmark with the code name “Grouper” and the model number “Nexus 7″.

That means Asus Nexus tablet will sport a 7-inch display and thus confirms the 7-inch form factor for the tablet. the specs part has mentioned resolution of 1280 x 768 pixels. The tablet will be powered by 1.3GHz NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad-core processor. The tablet was running the JRN51B build of Android 4.1 OS and J plausibly stands for Jelly Bean. So it seems the next Android version will be Android 4.1, but not Android 5.0.

The Asus-made Google Nexus 7 tablet is at 11th position on the Benchmark results list with an average score of 18. We will report more details about the Google Nexus tablet when it’s announced at Google I/O in next month.
