Google Nexus 7

Just after we brought to you a good news regarding the availability of Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean update for the Galaxy Nexus, Nexus 7 and Nexus 10 devices, today we have found another exciting news for Google Nexus 7 users. Google has just updated the product page for the Nexus 7 tablet on the Google Play Store. Earlier, the Google Nexus 7 was listed on the Store as capable of using up to 8 hours of active use but this time, the tablet is listed as capable of powering up to 10 hours of active use. However, there’s no exact reason for increasing two hours of life. But it is expected that the latest Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean update will be the probable reason.

It is also expected that the latest Android 4.2.2 update will fix the delay of waking or sleeping the Galaxy Nexus and Nexus 7 after pressing power button of the devices. Again, the update is expected to fix the Bluetooth A2DP streaming issues on some of the Nexus 10 devices. With the help gesture typing mobile owners will be able to type messages just by gliding your finger across the keyboard.

If you think the new update will increase the battery life in your Nexus 7 you can check for the update manually by heading into Menu > Settings > About Tablet > Software update > Check for Updates.
