Google officially introduced the new Google Pixel 7 an Pixel 7 Pro at its hardware event. As promised earlier by Google India, both the Pixel 7 phones are now available for pre-order in India. Unfortunately, Google hasn’t announced the much awaited Pixel Watch for India yet, which was announced today and now available for pre-order in the US, starting at $349.
Inside, the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro are powered by Google Tensor G2, the company’s next-generation processor which brings a faster and smarter Google Assistant (2.5x faster voice typing), and more efficient day-to-day activities, like recording or streaming.
Both Pixel 7 phones now have Face Unlock capability, and you will get the 5 years of continuous updates, major OS updates should be for 3 years, and free VPN access through Google One as well.
The Pixel 7 Pro has a 6.7″ QHD LTPO AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, while the Pixel 7 has got a 6.3″ display FHD+ OLED with variable 10-90Hz refresh rate. Both offer a 25% higher peak brightness compared to the previous generation Pixel 6 phones and have Gorilla Glass Victus cover glass.
Both the phones feature a 50MP camera and a 12MP ultrawide lens, and the Pixel 7 Pro has an autofocus ultrawide camera with macro option, and also has an additional 48MP telephoto camera with support for 5x optical zoom and 30x digital zoom compared. On front side, both phones have got 10.8MP camera with support for face unlock, and 10-bit HDR video recording.
The Pixel 7 has comes equipped with a 4355mAh battery and the Pixel 7 Pro has a massive 5000mAh battery, both with 30W fast charging and wireless charging. Both ship with the purest and latest Android 13 OS out of the box.
