Google+ app has seen a major overhaul yesterday. Remember a couple of weeks ago, the lucky iOS users got the opportunity to enjoy Google’s latest Google+ refresh and the search giant promised to bring the same refreshments to Android platform in just a few weeks. As promised earlier, Google+ app’s latest update is rolling out now and the updated app is now available as a free download in Google Play Store. The latest update bumps the version number of the Google+ app up to v2.6.
The app will let you to get a a ribbon on the left side that features quick shortcuts to anything. You can also download the images as wallpapers, can edit posts inline. The updated Google+ app v2.6 brings the ability to start a Hangout directly from your handset and Hangouts now support also ringing notifications.
