Google Search App For iPhone Revamped

Google search iPhone app

If you have been using Google Mobile App for iPhone, you will soon notice that the app looks completely different with a neat overhaul. Google has updated its iOS app with new name (the app henceforth will be called as “Google Search” app), new interface and whole bunch of new features. The first thing you will notice when you install the updated Google Search app is the presence of a new search bar that can be activated by swiping down or by changing settings.

The major change however is the introduction of a new toolbar to filter the search results (images, news, shopping, videos, blogs, realtime updates etc.). This can be opened by swiping from left to right and this looks similar to the left column that you would normally find on Google.com search results page. If you are familiar with handling the usual Google search results using the left-hand side panel, this should be easy and handy way to filter your results by various categories. The app also includes familiar other mobile apps like Gmail, Google Earth, Google Goggles etc.
