We have already known that Google didn’t sell its flagship device Nexus 4 so well due to its technical difficulties, delayed orders and for other reasons. This has been a hurdle for Google’s customers. As a result, frustrated customers have taken to Google+ to try and find answers from Google.
Last month, we found the Nexus 4 made by LG for Google was out of stock in the Google Play Store and there was no indication that when the device will be back in stock from Google directly. Even on the Christmas shopping days of Black Friday and Cyber Monday, Google didn’t offer their flagship device. It also raised a question to the customers why Google or LG did not pre-plan for an arrangement in order to fulfill customer demands, especially when you were releasing a popular phone in the start of Holiday and shopping season.
Although Google didn’t sell the device properly on the shopping season, soon after it was reported that the Google Nexus 4 was back in Google Store very high traffic disabled the users buy.
Now, Ireland’s Google MD, Dan Cobley has responded to the mass of customers by updating on his Google + page and explained that they are now working through the nights and weekends to resolve the issues. Supplies from the manufacture are insufficient and unpredictable. He has offered an apology to those who have experienced disgraceful shipping delays, and has offered a refund to those who’s orders missed the 3-5 day shipping window.
It has cleared a lot of issues for delaying Nexus orders and we hope that Google has been working hard to ensure that their customers are happy.
