Honor Magic 5 Lite 5G Specs leaked on Google Play Console

The Chinese manufacturer has launched the Honor Magic 4 back in February 2022, and it’s almost been a year since the launch. Considering the series’ timeline, the Honor Magic 5 as a successor should be hitting the markets by next month. It looks like Honor is also working on the budget oriented “lite” version of the Magic 5.

To recall, the Honor Magic 4 Lite made its debut in April last year. The folks over MyFixGuide spotted the Honor Magic 5 Lite 5G appearing on Google Play Console with model number HNRMO-Q, detailing some key specifications of the handset.

According to the listing, the Magic 5 Lite is running on Snapdragon 695 chipset, which was also used in its predecessor. That means the Magic 5 Lite won’t be getting a considerable upgrade over its predecessor. The chipset is built on six Cortex A55 cores at 1.8GHz and two Cortex A78 cores clocked at 2.2GHz.

The device was listed with 8 gigabytes of RAM, along with Adreno 619 GPU under the hood, and running the outdated Android 12 OS. Thanks to the listing, we also got to see the design of the Magic 5 Lite. The device has a curved display with thin bezels and centre-aligned punch-hole cutout design, while the predecessor had a flat display. The display has resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and 480 PPI pixel density.

The top-tier Honor Magic 5 is rumored to feature 6.8-inch display with PWM dimming, 50-megapixels main camera with AI ISP tuning, an IP-68 rating for water and dust resistance, superfast 100W wired, 50W wireless charging, and the latest flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor.

Reports also indicating that the manufacturer is working a foldable phone with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and 66W wired charging.
