At the beginning of January, we started hearing about the Honor Magic5 Lite, and ever since then we’ve heard multiple times that it will be launched at MWC event. This has now been officially added to Honor France’s website, and not just that, but you can already order one. The device was simply uploaded on the French website of the company. This handset is indeed a rebranded Honor X9a for the European markets.
The Honor Magic5 Lite is priced at €379 ($406, INR 31,395 at the current exchange rates) before any bank offers. It is now available for pre-order in France, and open sale begins on February 20. For this amount of cash, you’re getting the device in the only memory/storage combo that it has, namely 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Color-wise, you can pick between among green, black, and silver models.
This smartphone brings a 6.67” AMOLED with 120Hz refresh rate and FullHD+ resolution. It comes with in-display fingerprint sensor, 300Hz touch sampling rate and 1920Hz PWM dimming. The 16MP selfie camera with f/2.5 aperture sits in the center inside a punch hole.
There are three more cameras at the back. It has 64MP primary camera with f/1.8 aperture. The other two units are a 5MP ultra-wide sensor and a 2MP macro cam.
On the inside, we have a Snapdragon 695 5G (6 nm) chipset and a single memory option – 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. It doesn’t have a microSD slot for extra storage. The Honor Magic5 Lite comes with a 5,100mAh battery and SuperCharge fast charging at 40w speeds. Honor claims it can last up to 2 days on a single charge, and you can watch 12.5 hours of uninterrupted video viewing in just 30 minutes of charging.
