Just last week, Flipkart teased a new tablet of the Honor Pad series on its website. Today, the e-commerce giant has announced the new Honor Pad 8 is going to be available to buy in India starting from September 23rd exclusively on its website. This tablet was introduced in July a couple of months ago for the global markets and it flaunts a 12-inch LCD display with 2K resolution.
Other specifications of the Honor Pad 8 will include Snapdragon 680 6nm octa-core processor, 4GB/6GB RAM with 128GB internal storage, 1i-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5 connectivity, 7250mAh battery with 22.5W fast charging capability. As far as the camera department is concerned, it has 5-megapixel cameras on both sides.
Weighing around 520 grams, the Honor Pad 8 also comes equipped with a set of 8 speakers to support Honor’s own Histen audio tuning algorithm and DTS:X-Ultra sound functionalities. It does ship with Android 12 OS with Magic UI 6.1 on top.
Honor is offering Pad 8 only in a single Blue Hour color. You can buy this device from Sep 23 by paying ₹19,999 for the basic 4GB+128GB model, while the 6GB+128GB variant is priced at ₹21,999.
