Honor Pad V8 Pro Full Specs Leak: 144Hz Display, Dimensity 8100 SoC, 10500mAh battery

We’ve been hearing about the Honor Pad V8 Pro for a few days now, which is scheduled to arrive tomorrow, December 26. Honor hasn’t divulged much more about this tablet yet except its display and processor details, but its full specs have leaked online, suggesting it will be a power packed super house.

Some of the S15e’s specs have already been teased and confirmed by vivo itself, such as the MediaTek Dimensity 8100 5G chipset, and a 12.1-inch large display with 2K resolution. Today’s leak came in courtesy of the popular Chinese leakster Digital Chat Station.

According to DCS, the Honor Pad V8 Pro tablet will be paired up with 12GB of RAM. This powerhouse will be backed up by a large 10,500mAh battery, which has 35W fast charging capability. The source has also confirmed the V8 Pro will be featuring MediaTek Dimensity 8100 5G SoC, a 12.1″ display with 2560 x 1600 pixels of resolution, as well as 144Hz fast refresh rate support. It’s worth mentioning that the Honor V8 Pro would be the world’s first large-screen tablet to offer a 144Hz refresh rate.

DCS also says that the device will have an 8 megapixel camera on the back side, while the front side will get a 5 megapixel camera to shoot video calls, and it ships with MagicOS 7.0 preinstalled out of the box. It wil have 8/12GB of RAM onboard. It measures 277×178.95×6.64mm,and weighs 585g. The Honor Pad V8 Pro is rumored to be IMAX Enhanced-certified and comes packed with eight speakers for an immersive audio-visual experience. It will be sold in three colors – black, blue and orange.

To recall, the previous gen Pad V7 Pro was debuted last year with an 11-inch IPS LCD with 2.5K resolution, MediaTek Kompanio 1300T 5G SoC, a 7250 mAh battery, and much more. It would have been great if Honor has considered going with an OLED display for the successor. However, the Honor Pad V8 Pro will also join Honor 80 GT at tomorrow’s launch event in China. The manufacturer is also preparing to launch Honor X7a, and Honor X9a 5G phones in the coming days.
