HTC has officially announced its Android powered smart phones White HTC Desire & Phantom Black HTC Legend, while HTC’s windows phone 7 smart phones were leaking out these days like HTC Mozart & HTC Mondrian and an Android mobile HTC Desire HD(HTC Ace) destined to VodafoneUK, T-mobile and many UK retailers.
Phantom Black HTC Legend
The ‘Phantom Black’ edition of HTC Legend runs on Android 2.1 OS Eclair, was made from a single block of aluminium and has a 3.2 inch AMOLED (Active-Matrix OLED) display. The HTC Legend is the successor to the HTC Hero and is slimmer and smaller than its predecessor.
HTC Legend has a 600 MHz processor, but still manages to drive through a huge amount of tasks without any hint of slowdown. The Sense UI on the HTC Legend offers seven home screens to play with HTC Legend also supports smart dialling.

White HTC Desire
The ‘White’ edition of HTC Desire is the long-awaited Android handset with specifications similar to those of the famous Nexus One, but differs in some features and equipped with the wonderful Sense interface. HTC Desire runs on Android OS, v2.1 (Eclair) and it is upgradable to Android 2.2 OS (Froyo), powered by a 1 GHz ARMv7 Snapdragon processor with AMD Z430 GPU, 5 megapixel auto-focus camera and an optical trackpad, and was among the first consumer devices to feature a large, full-color AMOLED display.
HTC Desire Multi-Touch screen with HTC Sense interface, 3-axis accelerometer, digital compass, proximity and ambient light sensors. The device is capable of high-definition (720p) video recording and playback. HTC Desire is quite similar to HTC Desire HD specification wise, but the only difference is full Qwerty key board.
The White HTC Desire is already being made available via pre-orders. It is available for pre-order on mobiles.co.uk.

Price & Availability
The Phantom Black HTC Legend and White HTC Desire will be available through mobile operators and retailers across major European markets from October 2010. Pricing information of these devices has not been officially announced yet.
HTC Legend is available at price of $472.65 approx (Rs. 22971 INR) and HTC Desire pricing at RS. 30,000 INR.
