HTC is desperately wants to have all of its Android smartphones to run the latest version of the OS and the latest HTC Desire official Android Gingerbread leak is just another example. We have already seen the Gingerbread update being rolled out for HTC Desire HD and Incredible S handsets last week. According to reports, HTC Desire users will soon get the official Gingerbread update within this spring and the HTC Desire Z users will follow soon after.
HTC Desire users, however can taste the Gingerbread flavor early, as an official test ROM for HTC Desire, compiled for the HTC Bravo (Desire’s codename), includes the new Android 2.3 Gingerbread has been leaked online. The update is actually meant for the Asian regions. However, it is in WWE (Worldwide English).
Since we are already seeing the official Gingerbread ROM leaks, it won’t be too longer before we see the official rollout of the Android Gingerbread to the HTC Desire.
