We already reported about HTC Edge, which is claiming to be the world’s first quad-core processor equipped handset. We knew some of the rumored monster specs of this handset including 1.5GHz Nividia Tega 3 quad-core processor, 4.7″ screen, Beats audio technology, 1GB of RAM, 8MP camera, and HTC’s new Sense 4.0. No word yet on if it will be released with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS. Further information about the HTC Edge handset has leaked again.

According to BGR, the handset’s display would be an S-LCD 2 component with the presence of optical lamination. The HTC Edge handset’s thickness would be 8.8 millimeters with a unibody design, a front-facing camera which is capable of recording 720p video and there will be 32GB of onboard storage, as well as a microSD card slot for memory expansion support. Other specs are including an 8MP rear-facing camera with f/2.2 lens, capable of capturing 1080p videos. Bluetooth 4.0 is expected on board and it is capable of supporting for 21Mbps HSDPA network speeds.

The HTC Edge is expected to hit the market in late Q1, or early Q2 of next year 2012.
