We’ve seen the official announcement of the HTC EVO 3D smartphone for Sprint carrier at CTIA 2011 event. The online-retailer Mobile City has listed EVO 3D unlocked version with GSM radios for pre-order at $699.99 and the website has pulled the pre-order availability for the handset for some unknown reasons. For now, the EVO 3D will stay exclusive for Sprint USA only. Here what the retailer says:
“We’re Sorry the HTC EVO 3D Smartphone Unlocked Import Has Been Discontinued From Our Catalog.”
The retailer has listed the HTC EVO 3D with a 3D S-LCD capacitive touchscreen on board, dual 5 Megapixel rear Cameras, 1.3 Megapixel camera on the front, support for HSDPA 900 / 1900 / 2100 and Quad Band 850/900/1800/1900 connectivity capabilities. GSM-capable HTC EVO 3D handset is having the 1GB internal storage instead of the 4GB of CDMA Sprint variant.
HTC EVO 3G runs on the latest Android v2.3 Gingerbread skinned with the HTC Sense UI customizations, 1.2 GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor, sporting a 4.3-inch 3D S-LCD screen with qHD (540×960 pixels) resolution, 1GB RAM, Bluetooth 3.0, FM radio, HDMI port, micro-SD card slot for memory expansion up to 32GB and more.
