But we knew that it was supposed to be hitting the markets in late May. Now Best Buy has officially announced that HTC Flyer would be releasing on May 22nd. HTC Flyer is missing the tablet optimized Android 3.0 Honeycomb OS, and will be shipped with Android 2.3 Gingerbread flavored with the tablet version of HTC Sense. It should be noted that if you have something to note that HTC has officially confirmed that it will upgrade the Flyer with Honeycomb shortly after the launch.
The 7-inch Flyer’s display is 1024 x 600 pixel of resolution, and running with 1.5GHz single-core processor complemented with 1GB RAM, LED flash equipped 5 megapixel camera around its back, and an additional front-facing 1.3 megapixel camera for video chats, 32GB of internal storage, Bluetooth 3.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n connectivity, HDMI-out, and powered by 4,000mAh battery.
It’s not yet confirmed that if it will ship out with a Stylus packed in it or not, which would allow users to take advantage of unique Scribe technology.
