One-Click Root For AT&T’s HTC One X

There has been some good news for AT&T branded HTC One X owners. If you are a One X user, who bought the device just a few days ago, and if you are looking to root it, we’ve some good news for you. you can now root your HTC One X handset using the simple one-click-root method. Thanks to guys at XDA Developers Forum.

Thick One-Click solution will automatically install Busybox and SuperSU onto your HTC One X handset. Of course, it will also root your device and it will enable the use of “superuser” permissions on your phone and lets you do all sorts of things to your phone.

Here’s how to root your HTC One X handset:

# Make sure you’ve HTC Drivers for Windows installed.
# Download root.zip and extract it
# On your handset, go to Settings/Applications/Development/USB debugging and check the box and connect it to the Windows PC the computer (make sure USB debugging is enabled in Settings  >
Developer options > USB debugging).
# Navigate to the appropriate folder and run the root file (root.bat for Windows, root-linux.sh for Linux, or root-mac.sh for Mac).
# Just follow the instructions in the command window.
# That’s it. ROOTED!
