In late September, Verizon has began rolling out the most awaited Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread update for its HTC Thunderbolt handset, which was carrying the build number 2.11.605.3. But unfortunately, the official OTA Gingerbread update has also carried several bugs along with it. Due the last update, Google Talk Video haven’t worked. The last update broke notifications for voicemails. To fix these bugs of the last update, there is an update available for HTC Thunderbolt. A new RUU has leaked as build 2.11.605.5 and it can be flashed by on your HTC Thunderbolt handsets. Non-rooted Thunderbolt users can also give it a try. Just remember that this will wipe your device clean – you will lose everything.
