Verizon’s HTC Thunderbolt has promised to launch with Skype video calling app pre-installed, but the carrier couldn’t make it up. But we’ve a good new for you. A version of the Skype video calling app has leaked online. Folks over the Droid-Life have the APK file and you can download it & install it on your Thunderbolt handset now.
Engadget has noted that video quality was just as good on the 4G network as it was on Wi-Fi connection. The app is also working on 3G. HTC Thunderbolt is having the 1.3 megapixel front-facing camera for video chats.
This leak believably means the app will officially be released in the Android Market very soon. Back in December, 2010, Skype video calling app for iPhone has released.
