Well..we still don’t have the exact release date of the Verizon carrier’s first 4G LTE smartphone, HTC Thunderbolt. According to “two independent sources”, folks over BGR said that the handset will be released on March 21st. March 21st isn’t the only rumored release date, on the other side, folks over AndroidCentral have got an e-mail, suggesting that the handset is set to release on March 17th.
Recently, HTC regional sales manager handling Verizon accounts also tweeted that the Thunderbolt is scheduled to release on march 17th and later he has removed his tweet. All these unconfirmed evidances can’t guarantee the exact release date and unfortunately Verizon is keep delaying the release of the much anticipated HTC Thunderbolt and many consumers are already got the Motorola Atrix, Apple iPhone 4, which is not the good sign for both the Verizon and HTC. ‘March 21 statement’ matches with what has been recently hinted on HTC’s Facebook page.
HTC Thunderbolt is the Android Froyo handset running on the latest gen of Snapdragon 1GHz chipset and got a 4.3″ Super LCD display for Skype video calling, latest HTC Sense with new features, 8MP camera with 720p video capture, DLNA, Mi-Fi capability, Dolby SRS surround sound and having 32GB memory on the board.
