At today’s launch event for the Huawei P60 series in China, the company announced several premium products, including the highly anticipated Huawei MatePad 11″ 2023 tablet. The latest edition of the company’s 11-inch tablet is available in two variants, one with regular glass and the other with matte glass.
The 11-inch LCD display offers a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels and up to a 120Hz refresh rate, with a 16:10 aspect ratio and a 275PPI. The display is protected by either regular glass or matte glass, with the latter offering a paper-like experience at the cost of contrast levels. This variant eliminates screen reflections and enhances the stylus experience.
Powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chipset and running on HarmonyOS 3.1, the device comes with a 7,250mAh battery that supports 22.5W wired charging. The tablet features quad speakers with Huawei Histen 8.0 sound effects, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.1, and USB Type-C for connectivity.
The tablet is equipped with a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front-facing camera on the side bezel. It measures only 7.2mm in thickness and weighs approximately 480g.
The Huawei MatePad 11″ 2023 tablet is available in four color options – Obsidian Black, Island Blue, Crystal White, and Streamer Purple. It is already available for purchase in China, with prices ranging from ¥2,299 ($335) for the 6GB + 128GB Regular Glass variant to ¥2,999 ($440) for the 8GB + 128GB Matte Glass variant.
