Huawei P60 and Mate X3 Launching This Month

Earlier this year, Huawei gave a sneak peek of the Huawei P60 series and the Huawei Mate X3 foldable, hinting that both devices would be launched together in March 2023. With the launch event just around the corner, it seems highly probable that the Mate X3 will make its debut alongside the P60 series.

The launch of these new devices will be a major event for Huawei, as the company seeks to further cement its position as a major player in the highly competitive smartphone market. The P60 series is expected to offer a range of advanced features, including a powerful new processor, improved camera capabilities, and enhanced battery life. Meanwhile, the Mate X3 is likely to build on the success of previous foldable devices from Huawei, offering users a larger, more versatile screen that can be folded and unfolded as needed.

In addition to the online advert screenshot, Chinese leakster the factory manager is classmate Guan also posted on Weibo confirming that Huawei will indeed be holding a launch event on March 23 to unveil their latest products for 2023. Guan also reiterated his previous post that the event will not only showcase smartphones but also other smart tech ecosystem devices such as the Huawei FreeBuds 5 wireless earphones, the Huawei Watch 4 smartwatch, and the Huawei Band 7 smart fitness band.

Huawei P60 series features

Based in the previous reports, the upcoming Huawei P60 Pro is expected to feature a large 6.6-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 1440p resolution. The smartphone will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, but due to restrictions imposed on Huawei, it will only support 4G connectivity. However, the P60 Pro will boast impressive charging capabilities with support for 100W wired and 50W wireless charging, and a long-lasting 5,000mAh battery.

The Huawei P60 series is expected to showcase the latest technologies and features, bringing a fresh vibe to the brand. The flagship model is rumored to offer a powerful camera experience with a large sensor on the main camera, accompanied by the return of the RYYB color array for enhanced image brightness and quality.

Moving up to the Huawei P50 series, the brand has reportedly made significant improvements to the telephoto camera, as evidenced by camera samples revealing superior zoom capabilities and improved texture and quality in photographs.

Moreover, the Huawei P series is set to introduce two new features: the variable aperture and the XMAGE camera imaging system. These capabilities were first seen on the Huawei Mate 50 Pro and have since been refined to improve the mobile photography experience.

It will be interesting to see how the P60 Pro and other devices announced at the event will stack up against the competition. As always, Huawei’s latest devices are sure to generate plenty of buzz and excitement among tech enthusiasts and consumers alike. With its reputation for producing high-quality, cutting-edge technology, Huawei is well positioned to continue its success in the global smartphone market, and the launch of the P60 series and Mate X3 could be a key milestone in that journey.
