Huawei announced the Ascend D2 in October this year. It is considered to be Huawei’s take on phablets and it will be a high-end variant. Though it was announced a couple of months back, there were no proper images or information available till now. Today, new images of the phablet has been leaked online.
Huawei Ascend D2 runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS, sporting a bigger 5-inch display, powered by a 1.5GHz Huawei K3V2 quad-core processor, a 13 megapixel main on camera on back side, 1.3 megapixel front-facing shooter for forwarding video chats, micro USB 2.0, microSD card slot for memory expansion up to 32GB, Dolby 5.1 surround stereo sound, Bluetooth 4.0, 802.11 Wi-Fi a/b/g/n, 3.5mm headset jack, access to Google Play Store, a whole host of the Google services, 3,000mAh battery to power everything and all the regular features of an Android phone.
The wait for more information and pictures of the phablet will be coming to an end as the Huawei Ascend D2 is expected to make an appearance at CES 2013 which is scheduled from January 8 to 11, 2013. As for now, to partially fulfill the hunger for information, four images exposing the handset’s design have appeared on the web as shown above.
