Apple’s Let’s Talk iPhone event is live now and we’ve already found a leak of the new iPhone from straight from horse’s mouth. A few minutes ago, Apple’s Japanese website has listed the new “iPhone 4S” and Apple Japan has marked with a release date of October 14th. iPhone 4S will be available to purchase at 8:00 a.m. on the release day. Two images labeled “iPhone 4S” have also appeared on the Apple Store servers. iPhone 4S is looking very similar to the iPhone 4. Apple Japan has pulled the iPhone 4S listing from its website. There was a “Learn More” link, but the link was directing to the iPhone 4 information page.
Apple iPhone 4S will be available in both the white and black colored variants and according to the previous leaks, there will be a 3.5-inch touchscreen display, a 5 megapixel camera on the rear side and powered by a new A5 processor .

So it is releasing on October 14th, which means you only have to wait another 10 days to get your hands on the new iPhone.
