iQOO has fulfilled its promise by announcing the iQOO Z7 and Z7x, the latest additions to its Z series of smartphones in China. The Z7 lineup includes the standard Z7 and Z7x models, which come as successors to last year’s Z6 series. Additionally, iQOO unveiled the Z7i in the Chinese market just last week. As a sub-brand of Vivo, iQOO has established a reputation for releasing high-quality smartphones, and the Z7 series is no exception.
The iQOO Z7 and Z7x smartphones are now open for orders and are set to hit the Chinese market on March 24th. Meanwhile, iQOO is set to unveil a separate 5G version of the iQOO Z7 with Dimensity 920 in India tomorrow. It seems that the Vivo sub-brand is continuing its efforts to expand its reach in the Asian markets.
The iQOO Z7 and Z7x smartphones boast a similar design, featuring a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and a square-shaped camera module at the rear. Both devices sport a 6.64-inch LCD display with a punch-hole cutout placed at the center. The iQOO Z7 duo offers FHD+ resolution, HDR10 support, a 120Hz refresh rate, and adaptive brightness with DC dimming.
On the camera front, the iQOO Z7 series comes with a dual-camera setup consisting of a primary 64MP sensor with OIS and a secondary 2MP lens. The selfie shooter is 16MP. In comparison, the iQOO Z7x has a 50MP + 2MP dual rear camera setup and an 8MP front camera.
The iQOO Z7 is equipped with a Snapdragon 782G processor, while the Z7x is powered by a Snapdragon 695 SoC. Both phones offer up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Additionally, the phones feature a VC liquid cooling system and virtual RAM expansion technology. The iQOO Z7 is backed by a 5,000mAh battery with support for 120W fast charging, while the Z7x packs a larger 6,000mAh battery with a maximum charging speed of 90W. Both smartphones run on OriginOS 3.0 based on Android 13.
In terms of connectivity, the iQOO Z7 series offers NFC, IR Blaster, X-Axis linear motor, WiFi-6, and high-performance antennas.
The iQOO Z7 is available in Space Black, Atomic Blue, and Infinite Orange colors. On the other hand, the iQOO Z7x is offered in Space Black, Sea Blue, and Infinite Orange colors. Here are the prices of iQOO Z7 and Z7x smartphones:
