Sprint branded dual-screened Android device Kyocera Echo phone is set to launch on April 17th. Sprint carrier is now offering pre-orders on this handset for $199.99 after a $100 mail-in-rebate, by signing a two-year contract with the carrier and the customers required to apply for Everything plan with data, plus $10/month Premium Data Add-on.
Kyocera Echo is surprisingly running on the out-dated Android 2.2 Froyo on a 1GHz processor, sporting 3.5 inch WVGA (800 x 480 pixels) touch-screen displays, equipped with a 5 Megapixels camera with 720p HD video recording capability, 512MB RAM, 8GB micro-SD card pre-installed, supports cards up to 32GB, Wi-Fi hotspot capability, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, having the “Tablet Mode” – lets you to use one application go around across both screens, Android Market and the whole host of Sprint and Google services.
