Lenovo S2 Officially Announced [CES 2012]

At CES 2012 event in Las Vegas, Lenovo has officially announced its new Android smartphone, called Lenovo S2. The Android OS based Lenovo S2 has got some decent specifications to compete with other Android phones. Lenovo S2 looks a little like a Samsung-made Google Nexus S handset and it comes with a secure kernel for enterprise use. This handset’s Lenovo Magic 3.0 UI is also remanding us a lot of webOS, including a gesture area and card views. The S2 phone will be available in two storage variants – 8GB and 16GB models.

# 1500mAh battery to provide 7.5 hours of talk-time.
# A unique, kernel-level security system to protect personal data, prevent phishing, and control network and SMS traffic.

The Lenovo S2 phone is expected to cost around $400 and will be available to purchase in China in the coming weeks.
