Mobile manufacturing corporations HTC, Sharp and Oppo have already declared that they will include 1080 pixel display on their five-inch phones. Now, Chinese computer hardware and electronics Lenovo also appears to be manufacturing its own smartphone with 1080p display.
Few months ago, Oppo Mobile CEO Chen Mingyong stated that their upcoming flagship phone, the Find 5, will feature a non-removable but “certainly big enough” battery as well as a 1080p, 441ppi display. Sharp also announced its upcoming device Aquos Phone SH930W. It has a 5-inch screen with resolution of 1920 by 1080 pixels and made using IGZO display technology. A week ago, we also heard that HTC Droid DNA will be available on Verizon carrier and it will become the first smartphone with 1080p screen to land in the US.
According to a reliable source, the phablet popped up on Chinese microblogging site Sina Weibo, however got deleted soon after it was uploaded. The screenshots displayed customized Lenovo Android UI on 1080p display. The screenshots showed off Lenovo’s customized Android UI in 1080 pixel. As many phones now available in China these days are dual-SIM connectivity, moreover the above screenshots show that it’s connected to both China Telecom’s CDMA2000 network and China Mobile’s 2G network. So we expect that the device has dual SIM facility.
But it is not confirmed that this mysterious mobile handset will feature a five-inch display but the display will be somewhere between 4.5 and 5.5 inches.
