LG has planned something for next week. The manufacturer is gearing up to get announce something at an event scheduled in New York City on December 1st and LG has started distributing invitations for the scheduled event, while the invitation reads “ All will be revealed on December 1.” LG hasn’t hinted any references to a specific handset, but the file name used for some versions of the invite image, is suggesting that LG might be staging up to announced its Nitro HD handset, which is compatible with the emerging AT&T’s 4G LTE network. LG Nitro HD is the AT&T’s version of the LG Optimus LTE handset, which was announced back in October for Korean regions.
A few days ago, we already published an article about the leaked press shot of the LG Nitro HD handset. It should be featuring 4.5-inch 720p HD touchscreen display with 1280 X 720 pixels of resolution with a better subpixel configuration than the Pentile Matrix, 1GB of RAM, 4GB of ROM, microSD slot for memory expansion up to 32GB, Bluetooth 3.0, 4G HSDPA 21Mbps network connectivity, 1830mAh battery and much more.
There no word on the release date and price tag of the LG Nitro HS handset yet, but it should be priced at reasonable as the previous LTE capable handsets of AT&T including Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket and HTC Vivid priced at very affordable ranges by the carrier.
