Moto G23, Moto G13, and Moto E13 unveiled for global markets

Along with the 5G capable Moto G73, and G53 phones, the manufacturer has also launched a three more entry level phones today – Moto G23, Moto G13, and Moto E13. The press renders and full specifications of these devices have already leaked ahead of today’s launch.

As the name implies, the Moto G23 arrives as the successor to the previous year’s G22. Both the Moto G23, and G13 smartphones are sharing the same specifications, except a few differences. Both have the same 6.5-inch IPS LCD display with HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. Both also have a centre-aligned punch-hole cutout on their displays to align the selfie shooters.

Moto G23 and Moto G13 will be running on the MediaTek’s Helio G85 chipset, pairing up with 4/8GB RAM and 64/128GB storage. They also feature a microSD slot for storage expansion, and the same 5,000 mAh battery. The Moto G23 supports 30W charring while the Moto G13 maxes out at 20W speeds. Both phones will be offered with Android 13 OS with pure UI out of the box.

On the optics front, Moto G23 gets a nicer 16MP front-facing camera, while the G13 ships with an 8MP selfie shooter.
On the back side, both handsets feature a boxy form factor and a squarish camera mod ule to house the same 50MP main camera sensor on the back with f/1.8 aperture and 0.64µm pixel size. Additionally, Moto G23 has a 5MP ultrawide shooter and a 2MP macro cam, while the Moto G13 features a 2MP macro cam and a 2MP depth sensor. Both these devices are IP52-rated waterproof, and the power button also acts as a fingerprint scanner.

Moto E13

The Moto E13 is much affordable than the aforementioned G73 and G53 handsets. It comes packed with a 6.5-inch HD+ LCD with a standard 60Hz refresh rate. The display has a waterdrop notch for housing a 5MP front-facing camera to make video calls and take selfies. There’s only a single 13MP rear camera on the back side.

Inside, the Moto E13 is running on a Unisoc T606 chipset alongside 2/4GB RAM and 64GB storage which is also expandable using the microSD slot onboard. It is backed up by a 5,000 mAh battery with support for 10W charging, and it naturally boots with Android 13 (Go edition).

Price & Availability

The Moto G13 is priced at €179 and will be sold in Matte Charcoal, Blue Lavender and Rose Gold colours. The Moto G23 goes for sale at €199 and customers can choose between Charcoal Matte and Pearl White colored variants. Both the G23 and G13 phones will be available in Europe in the coming weeks and then will also go for sale in Latin America and Asian markets.

On the other side, Moto E13 ships in Cosmic Black, Aurora Green, Creamy White colors. Pricing in Europe is set at €120 and the phone will also be available to purchase in the Middle East, Africa, Asia Pacific and Latin America in the later dates.
