Motorola DROID 3 (Milestone 3) Gets A Detailed Preview; Photos, Specs And Benchmarks Emerge

Just yesterday we brought you the news about the upcoming Motorola Droid 3 that it has been spotted at Gameloft’s website and that it will possibly launch on July 7th. And today, thanks to Chienese website, XDA, we can now have the full extensive look at what the phone has to offer to us in the coming days. The phone that they have reviewed is actually the Motorola Milestone 3, and we already know that Droid 3 is going to be the US specific variant of it. Check out the hands-on pictures of the Milestone 3 after the break.

And coming to the specs that the device is sporting, Droid 3 is featuring a 4-inch qHD display, TI OMAP 4430 dual-core processor, 8 megapixel camera capable of recording 1080p HD video, VGA front-facing camera for video calls, HDMI-out, Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS, full QWERTY-Slider 5-row keyboard with a dedicated number row, and powered by a 1500 mAh battery. But you will be disappointed to know that the device features a mere 512MB of RAM. When all the upcoming smartphones are coming up with at least 1GB of RAM, we don’t know what made Motorola to stick to the 512MB RAM. The device will not feature 4G LTE connectivity too, another bummer!
