Motorola outed the Droid Bionic, at CES 2011 in January, the dual-core 4G LTE phone for Verizon Wireless and we still don’t have the release date yet. The first LTE capable HTC Thunderbolt has just released a few days ago, on March 17th. So we can expect that Motorola Droid Bionic may not launch very soon. But, the folks over AndroidCommunity says that according to in-store Verizon employees, Droid Bionic is set to release at sometime around the mid-April. It should be noted that employees “weren’t 100% sure”.
Previously, Amazon Stores has set the price as $149.99 contract price alongside a $599.99 full retail price for the Motorola Droid Bionic and later, the product page has been pulled from Amazon’s website.
Motorola Droid Bionic comes with Android 2.2 Froyo OS, Motoblur UI, equipped with Tegra 2 dual-core 1GHz chipset, 4.3″ qHD touch screen, 8MP camera with HD video capture, additional VGA front face camera, 1080p video playback, Skype Mobile video chats, Wi-Fi, 3G, GPS, 512MB RAM, 2GB ROM, 16GB in-built memory and full host of Google services.
