While most Android fans are eagerly waiting to get their hands on the upcoming high-end spec’d beast called Motorola Droid RAZR HD handset from Verizon, there are still who prefer to go for a mid-to-high range Android phone with an affordable price tag option. It looks like the folks over Engadget got their hands on the press shot and the specs sheet of the Motorola Droid M handset. We are already aware of the possible price tag of the yet to be announced Motorola Droid M 4G LTE handset from the previous leak. Now, we are presented with the leaked press shot and specs sheet of this device ahead of Moto’s September 5th Verizon event.

The device packs;

# 4.3-inch qHD Super AMOLED Advanced display with 960×540 pixels, same as current RAZR editions
# Gorilla Glass 2
# Dual-core Snapdragon S5 MSM8960 processor clocked at 1.5GHz
# 1GB RAM
# 8MP camera on the back side to take 1080p videos
# 3MP front-facing shooter (Yes, it’s 3MP) to shoot video chats
# 8GB onboard storage, 32GB memory expandable via microSD cards
# NFC radio inside
# CDMA-EVDO spectrum with LTE
# Full GSM / UMTS / HSPA+ global roaming capability

..and will be running on Android 4.0, Ice Cream Sandwich, not 4.1 Jelly Bean OS.

The Droid M looks like a sibling of the Motorola Droid RAZR, but it has got a trio of the on-screen buttons at the bottom, just like the AT&T branded Motorola Atrix HD handset. There is now information regarding the retail stores availability of the Motorola Droid M handset.
