[Download] MIUI ROMs Available For Motorola Droid X, And Droid 2

The MIUI developers team have released the MIUI Ports for both the Motorola Droid X and Droid 2 handsets. Most you might not familiar with this new term or never heard about MIUI Port or ROM, and are left wondering as to what this means. In case you didn’t know already, MIUI is a new kind of ROM, which offers a different user experience, and it brings unique speed utilizing the hardware to its fullest. This ROM was initially developed only for Chinese users, and it was initially revealed on the Nexus One.

Both MIUI ROMs for Droid X and Droid 2 are built from CyanogenMod 7 sources.

MIUI Port/ROM for Motorola Droid X (99.5MB).
MIUI Port/ROM for Motorola Droid 2 (100MB).

Download the MIUI ROM from the above links. Open ROM Manager and choose “Install ROM from SD Card.”  Check the boxes for making a backup and wiping data/cache. Don’t forget to make a full backup after booting into recovery mode. Wipe the data, and install the MIUI ROM. It should reboot if finished successfully. That’s it. You are done now, and check out all the new features of this Chinese customized version of the Android OS.
