Motorola’s Android smartphone Droid X 2 aka Droid X “squared” may soon be unveiled following a series of leaked photos and details. The leak came from a post from The Mobi Zone Forum but the post has been removed. If the leak is accurate, this phone will be making it to Verizon’s network and will only support 3G.
Though the Post has been removed, we have accessed the cached version of the post where we got some of the leaked specs as follows:
* 1GHz dual-core Tegra 2 chip
* 1GB of RAM
* 4.3-inch 540 x 960 pixel resolution display
* 8-megapixel camera
* Android 2.2 Froyo
While a number of mobile phones being unveiled at the ongoing Mobile World Congress 2011, we are expecting this one could also be unveiled. This successor looks very much alike to its current Android-powered Droid X.
Note that the details and the pictures has not been confirmed officially.
