Motorola’s the exclusive provider of iDEN-capable handset, the Motorola i1x is going to hot the stores in the U.S. soon. Motorola i1z has already passed through FCC doors confirmed its iDEN 800MHz and iDEN 900MHz bands. Some images and specs of the Motorola i1x handset have leaked online now. It is also known as Motorola ‘i1Q’.
As we can see from the above image, i1x will be equipped with a spacious QWERTY keyboard, similar to the Droid Pro and the recently launched Motorola Titanium. It has got some mid-range specifications – sporting a 3-inch HVGA screen. It will be equipped with a 5 megapixel camera with an LED flash, micro-SD card slot, and the SIM card slot.
According to the previous rumors, it’s got a low powered processor and only runs Android 2.1. This Android phone with push-to-talk feaure, and a ruggedized exterior is ideal for certin work environment.
