The upcoming Motorola Razr 2023 has been leaked a few times already, showing off what is expected to be the next-generation foldable device from the manufacturer. Now, new information comes straight from the prolific leakster’s Twitter account that the Razr 2023 will be hitting retail as soon as June 2023.
The information allegedly comes from very reputable source Evan Blass aka @evLeaks, who also has a good track record about accurately revealing the launch dates, official renders, and official specs and features for many smartphones over the last few years.
For the past couple of weeks, we’ve been seeing and hearing so much exciting stuff about the upcoming flip-style foldable phones, such as Razr 2023, Galaxy Z Flip 5, and Galaxy Z Fold 5. If the recently leaked renders of the Razr 2023 to be believed, Motorola clearly could win the outer screen size competition, with this design revealed in the renders.
As per the previous leak, the Motorola Razr 2023 should be arriving with an absolutely humongous outer screen, which dominates the entire outer slice of the phone. The device could be sharing the same flattened design as the previous-gen Razr 2022 and the cut-outs for the two cameras and the LED flash on the outer display.
On the other side, Samsung is also working on to bring the next foldable Galaxy Z Flip 5 phone with a larger, more usable outer display, and it may also get high-resolution cameras this time. Oppo recently launched the Find N2 Flip which has much bigger cover display, measuring 3.26 inches, which is already undercutting the Galaxy Z Flip 4 (1.9 inches cover display), offering better competitive price and higher-resolution primary camera.
With the upcoming Razr 2023, Motorola is also trying to compete with other smartphone makers in the foldable phones segment, by extending the size of the cover display, including other high-end hardware specs under the hood.
Evan Blass on Twitter revealed a June 1 launch date for “Juno,” which is the codename for the Motorola Razr 2023. The documentation mentioned an “announcement reveal” of “Juno” on that date, but it doesn’t provide any launch details for the sale date of the phone.
Unfortunately, the new leak has no information on the specs of the Razr 2023. The unveiling event still has so many gaps to fill for us about the 2023 version of the Motorola Razr. To recall, Motorola owned Lenovo launched the previous-gen Razr phone in August 2022 in China, and later it was also made available in UK, but not in the United Sates.
