The new RAZR i is the World’s first Motorola-built first Android smartphone powered by an Intel processor, which has been officially announced by the manufacturer a few hours ago. Described as having an “edge-to-edge” display, this new guy has got all the impressive features as that of the RAZR M phone. If you want one, the Motorola RAZR i pre-order pages went live over at U.K. based Clove and Expnasys websites.
Both retailers are offering SIM-free editions of the Motorola RAZR i handset, priced at £345 (that’s incl. VAT). In case you need a specs refresher of this product, here it is:
# Intel Atom (Medfield) processor with 2GHz SoC
# Intel’s hyperthreading technology is powerful enough to get any task done
# Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich (Jelly Ban soon) with Motorola’s custom skin on top of it
# 4.3-inch edge-to-edge 960×540 qHD Super AMOLED Advanced display
# Made Kevlar strong
# 8MP rear camera capable of taking 1080p video capture and a multi-shot of 10 pictures per second
# 8GB eMMC, microSD card slot
# Google Play, Google Maps, Voice Actions
# 2000mAh battery with stellar battery life
# Bluetooth 2.1, Wi-Fi b/g/n, micro USB 2.0, DLNA, NFC
Although the Motorola RAZR i handset outperforms the Droid RAZR M (Snapdragon S4 powered) in the SunSpider benchmark, the overall benchmarking results are less than impressive. But, £345 is a reasonable price tag for the “deluxe edition” entry level spec’d RAZR i handset. If you are good to go, hit the below links to place an order.
