New Apple iPod touch Rumors

Along with the new iPhone 5, Apple is also planning to release a refreshed iPod touch portable media player today at its event. We already knew that the next-gen iPod touch will sport represent a significant upgrade over its predecessor. According to the latest rumors, the new iPod youch wil sport the following features:

# A sharp display with an higher resolution of 1136 x 640 pixels; Screen size should be 4-inches
# It runs at the same speed of the iPhone 4S and iPad 2, using the same same Apple A5 dual-core chip.
# 5-megapixel rear camera, an additional front-facing HD camera with FaceTime support
# 6.0 to 6.5 millimeters thinner profile
# It will have iOS 6 built-in.
# A smaller dock at bottom side
# GPS radio inside
# Weighs about 100 grams

New iPod touch’s will be less powerful than the one chip ticking inside the next-generation iPhone. Just like the iPad nano and iPod shuffle, the next-gen iPod touch will also come in black, white and a set of additional colors and you can use it as a video game controller by pairing it up with other large screened devices. New code name will be N78AP.

To no surprise, Apple store has just down ahead of today’s event. We will let you know more details once we hear official announcement of the new Apple products.
