Android 4.0.4 ICS IMM76D Leak For Nexus S 4G

A few days ago, Google has started rolling out the official Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich OS update for the T-Mobile branded GSM Nexus S handset, along with GSM capable Samsung Galaxy Nexus and Motorola Xoom Wi-Fi devices. Those of you that have the Sprint branded Google Nexus S 4G handset can stop being jealous of your T-Mobile Nexus S friends. A new leaked version of the Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich OS build has appeared online for the CDMA capable Sprint branded Nexus S 4G handset. The folks over at BriefMobile have leaked the official stock image files for the upcoming Android 4.0.4 OTA update for the Google Nexus S 4G handset. Build number is IMM76D.

This leak seems to be the full ICS build, which has included updated radios and the official stock image files – boot.img, bootloader, recovery, system.img, and userdata.img.

You can flash the leaked Android 4.0.4 ICS Build IMM76D on your Nexus S 4G handset by following the instructions provided here at below.

# Download IMM76Drelease-keys.zip file (Mirror).
# Install NS4G Drivers.
# Download and unzip Odin v1.85.
# Unzip the downloaded IMM76Drelease.keys.zip file.
# Turn off the Nexus S 4G device and head into "Download Mode" by holding Volume Up+Down and the power button.
# Connect the NS4G handset to your PC machine. Odin should recognize it automatically.
# You should see "COM#" populate the first box.
# Click on “Bootloader” and select “SPH-D720_IMM76D_KE1_BOOTLOAD_signed.tar” by navigating through through folder where you extracted the release keys.
# Now Click PDA and select "SPH-D720_IMM76D_PDA_signed.tar".
# Now Click “PHONE” and select “SPH-D720_IMM76D_LC1_Modem_signed.tar”.
# Click “Start” and wait until the installation process finishes.
# That’s it. Enjoy Android 4.0.4 IMM76D goodies on your Nexus S 4G handset.
